Wedding; Bells.

HASSETT—LOW A very pretty but quiet wedding took place at Auckland last Wednesday week, the contracting parties being Miss Brenda Low, youngest daughter of Dr Low of Huntly and Mr Patrick Joseph Hassett who is popularly known in the mining town. The bride, who looked charming in a handsome tailor-made travelling: costume, was given away by her brother, Mr Darcy Low, while Miss Muriel Lovell, a niece of the bride, officiated as bridesmaid. The bridegroom was supported by Mr Florence Farrell. After the ceremony, which was performed by tiie Rev. Father Cahill, the happy couple proceeded with their guests to Buchanan’s Refreshment Rooms, where a sumptuous breakfast was partaken of, during tire course of which the health of the bride and bridegroom was drank most heartily. Mr and Mrs P. J. Hassett proceeded to Rotorua by the express for their j honeymoon, arid judging by the j puantity of rice and confetti j laying on the station platform at ! Huntly, they werp well received \ on their journey through.
