Obituary.
It is with regret that we record the death of Mr J. Comins, of Huntly West, who passed away on Tuesday evening last. The death was rather sudden, although perhaps not quite unexpected, as the deceased had been under treatment for heart disease for some time.
Deceased had been in Huntly on the Tuesday morning transacting business, and in the afternoon was out among his sheep. On returning home in the evening, he complained of a severe pain in the chest, and soon afterwards expired. Deceased had been in the district for some yeat's, having held for some years a lease of Taipouri Island, where he engaged in dairying. On the expiry of the lease he went to Huntly West, where he held land, and has resided there ever since. Deceased was very highly respected by all who knew him, and leaves a wife and family of grown up children to mourn his loss.
