MINERS’ HALL—TO-NIGHT The management have provided a good variety programme for this evening the chief feature being a Gipsy comedy drama entitled “ The Sorceress.” This play deals with Bohemian life the climax being startling and romantic. A good supporting drama called “ Environment ” will appeal to those interested in social problems whilst the latest war pictures will show Ihe last of H.M.S. Bulwark just before she disappeared from view near the mouth of the Thames. A strong collection of interest, dramatic and comedy subjects supply the necessary variety amongst the latter. “ The Peach at the Beach” will assuredly provide good fun.

For Saturday an enticing programme will be screened, the star picture being “ Shadows of the Past.” This is an intensely emotional drama which will appeal to all. A fine physical culture film will be shown which should interest the Boy Scouts and school children. Pathes special War Gazette and Austria’s Blue Adriatic will supply patrons with latest war news and scenes whilst a special supporting budget includes Indian Drama. Patrons should book seats at McNee’s. For Tuesday next the great vitagraph moral play “ A Million Bid ” will be shown. This film is over 5000 feet long.
