Ladies’ Guild Social

A most enjoyable Social was held in the Miners’ Union Hall on Thursday evening, May 13th. The committee of ladies had done everything possible to ensure the enjoyment of those who attended, and with the floor in good condition, and first class music from the Huntly Orchestra the dancers had a really enjoyable time. Light refreshments, provided by the ladies, were done justice to in the usual heariy fashion. From' a financial point of view, the affair was a pronounced success.
