MINERS’ HALL—TO-NIGHT
A most versatile and popular programme will greet patrons tonight at the Miners’ Hall. Lubins sensational spectacle entitled, “ Out of the Depths ” is the star feature and it combines a tender and true story with life on American battleships and submarines. A very good vitagraph drama “ Happy go Lucky ’’ will surely please the ladies, whilst the various topical and comedy subjects will prove entertaining to all.
Special mention must be made of “ Where Mountains Meet ” a fine modern tale of the West and an extremely good Keystone Comedy, entitled “He loved the Ladies” in which the tricks of a wayw-ard hubby will cause much fun.
For Saturday, Mr. Calder announces he has secured a big 4 reel drama by the Famous Players Co., entitled “The Ring and the Man. ” This is a famous political romance featured by Bruce Mcßae the great beauty actor and portrays the gigantic forces of corruption which are arrayed against honesty and integrity. The latest Gaumont Graphic shows topical war news, whilst a fine scenic is depicted in the Island ot Madeira. The Comedy section is well represented by “ The Bear Facts, ” Susannas’ New Suit” and Caseys Birthday. For Genuine merit this programme is hard to beat. To ensure seats, patrons should book at McNees for Dress Circle. Another grand change next Tueswhen the “ Odalisque ” will be screened.
