MINERS’ HALL. The regular changes of programme will be screened as usual this week end, the star feature to night being a great puzzle drama entitled The Mystery of the stolen Documents.” It has a revelation in detective methods and will engage the attention of the most expert guessers and solvers of puzzles. The story is unique and will prove very entertaining. A big budget of variety subjects will support the star drama all of which bear the stamp of good selection and merit. A fine Pathe comedy entitled “ The Living Statue” features the famous Max Linder who has been justly styled the ladies' favourite. In addition to the full pictorial programme Miss Bartle will sing the latest song from the Cinderella pantomine entitled Peg o’ my Heart,” which is sure to be well received.

A brilliant change is announced for Saturday, when the great human play of the wild west entitled “ The Angel of Contention ” will be shown. This will prove a very popular subject and shows life and love in an American mining camp in the stirring days of 49. A fine supporting budget of subjects will also be shown, those of special note being the Gaumont Graphic which shows the latest war news. A new comic specialty entitled Col. Heeza Liar’s Adventures in Africa and the latest Keystone Comedy called “ Laughing Gas ” which will be much appreciated by the audience. The management issue a cordial invitation to everyone to see these programme.-, and to save disappointment rese/ves should be booked at McNees.
