Bowling.

A meeting of those interested in the formation of a Bowling Green is is to be held in the Supper Room of the King’s Hall on Tuesday next. All interested should make a point of being present. A team of Huntly bowlers visited Ngaruawahia last Wednesday and after an interesting game defeated their opponents by the substantial margin of 8 points, the scores being Huntly 23 Ngaruawahia 15. The opposing teams consisted of the following gentlemen:— Huntly, Messrs Bailey, George, Dr R. C McDiarmid and Mathews (skip). Ngaruawahia, Messrs. James, Rodgers Morris and Gould (skip). Next Wednesday a team of Huntly bowlers will accompany and assist the Ngaruawahia team in a match at Hamilton.
