Huntly Town Board.

The ordinary monthly meeting of the Huntly Town Board was held on Thursday, 26th November, there being present Mr J. P. B liley (chairman' 1 , and Messrs Harris and Norwood. The Ruawaro Branch of tlie Union wrote asking the Board to move in the direction of establishing saleyards on the wesbpide of the river. The clerk was instructed t reply, stating that, as the western | bank of the river was not under I their jurisdiction, the proper j course was to apply to the j Raglan County Council in the first instance. The Board decided to fix the j dog registration fees for the j ensuing year at 2s 6d for bonafide cat le dogs, and 5s for all | other dogs. Mr T. Britton was re-appointed Deputy Dog Registrar at the same remuneration as last year. Accounts were passed for payment amounting tp £lO7 19s. i
