MINERS’ HALL, TO-NIGHT. A double star programme which will?fully sustain the high standard set by the management is being screened this evening. The principal star is the great Sherlock Holmes special entitled “ Silver Blaze ” which is a a very superior detective play concerning the sport of kings and was produced under the able supervision of Sir Arthur Conon Doyle. The famous Sherlock Holmes gets in some very fine work which will appeal to everyone. One of the latest war topicals has also been secured entitled “ The Germans at Historic Louvain ” and shows the city after its destruction. One of Keystone Company’s biggest and best star comedies is included in this unique programme entitled “ Baffles.” This film is 2000 feet long and is said to he a riot of mirth and merriment. The balance of the programme is well arranged and a big house will no doubt result. On Saturday a grand change will be projected, the principal feature being “ The County Seat of War,” a play which is replete with some very sensational episodes depicting a terrific fight. Topical budgets of latest European news are included, while “Pat Fannyans Family, ” a great human drama, supports the star. Another famous keystone comedy called “Love and Gasolene,’ will blow away dull care. Ofchei comic, dramatic and educational S Meets complete a fine series ol ; I plays.
