ANNUAL MEETING. The annual meeting of the Tanpiri Coal Miners’ was held in the Miners’ Union hall on Wednesday night when some 250 members were present. As ii ) memb?r of the old executive would take tlie chair, Mr J. Wesley, senr., presided. Owing to the. fire by which the office and its contents were destroyed the audit had not been completed, the consideration of the balance sheet thin having to be deferred. Of-fice-bearers for the ensuing year were elected as follow : President, M; J. Wesley, senr.; Vice-President, Mr A. Hooker; Secretary. Mr J. O’Brien ; Treasurer, Mr W. H. Warren; Committee, Messrs C. Morris, A. Fletcher, and Wneeler ; Auditors, Messrs Aspipall and Lindsay; Trustees, Messrs C. Bird and D. Moles worth ; Check Inspectors, Messrs J. Wesley, senr. and W. Thompson; Scrutineers, Messrs Jones and W. Roth well.
