MINERS’ HALL, TO-NIGHT. Something new and original is always the keynote of the management, and to-night this will be amply borne out by the screening of the very latest animated gems. The Star feature is entitled “ The Vocation of Suzette, ” a fine emotional drama by the Gaumont Co. It is a dream play of quite exceptional beauty and is a splendid story of stageland, showing how a girl was cured of her passion for the stage by a vision as bright as reality. Educational features are well represented in coloured pictures of the “ Snail ” (interest) “ Bellagio ” (scenic) and two Topical Gazettes which are ever welcome, showing happenings in Europe and New Zealand. A superior Western Drama, “ The Stepbrothers ” is worthy of mention, while “ His Lordship Billy Smoke ” and “ A Box of Matches” are two mouthful morsels which will create a very pleasant feeling. Other good subjects complete a most popular programme. On Saturday a grand change, starring that big Lubin feature “The Sea Eternal,” will he screened. This is a grand play with il story beautifully told, and contains strong acting, and stupendous spectacles. The supporting drama, “ Van Nostrand’s Tiara” is a clever,
