Explosives Located.

AN EARLY START ANTICIPATFD. In reply to a question put to him by a representative of the PRESS Mr Fletcher, mining manager, was very pleased to state that a fairly large quantity of “permitted” explosives had been located in Australia, and that they were available for shipment to the Dominion. If the requisite permission i o export these is obtainej—and no obstacle is anticipated—and if a cargo boat is immediately available for their transport, it is expected that the mines will resume operations in about 10 days.
