The late Pope Pius X elected not very long before his death twelve new Cardinals at the last consistory, and one of them has been elected Pope. He has chosen the name of Benedict XV. Mr J. P. Bailey, Chairman of Waikato County Council, and Mr F. Harris, the clerk of Huntly Road Board, yesterday paid a visit to the southern end of the Matahuru-Mangawhara Road, to settle a dispute as to the direction of a road deviation. As a result, an arrangement will probably be made which will give satisfaction to all parties.
