Father Edge left yesterday for Auckland where he will preach the sermon during the service to be held in St. Patrick’s Cathedral to-day in cumulation with the death of Pope Pius X. The patriotic committee lias been strengthened by the inclusion of the following representatives of the outlying .districts: W. D. Thompson, Te Hoe ; Messrs A. Jamieson and A. McKinnon, Pukemiro, and MiFrank Storey, Matainirn.
