Hibernians.
The usual fortnightly meeting ef the Huntly Lodge of Hibernians was held on Sunday night Bro. M. F. McLeod presiding over a record attendance. Messrs Battersby, Keleher and Budge were initiated as membeis. while a candidate was proposed for initiation. The balance sheet, as presented )y Brc. WoiwooJ was adopted as satisfactory, the treasurer (Bro F. J. Farrell) and the auditors being thanked for their assistance. The report showed that the lodge was growing in membership and importance, and the secretary was complimented on his successful efforts towards furthering the welfare of' the branch. The meeting decided to attend in a body and wearing regalia,the office of H >ly Communion on Sunday,; 30th. • Several letters from the district executive were received and dealt with.
