Musical Examinations.
The results of the musical examinations held throughout New Zealand under the auspices of the Trinity College of Music have been issued in part, and it is aspleasing to note the success of the Huntly pupils who came through the ordeal so well, as it is to congratulate the teachers on their work. At the examination held in Auckland Miss Louisa Harris passed the senior practical, a severe test for a young lady of her years, while her little sister, Miss May was equally successful in the preparatory stage. Of the Convent pupils Miss Cecilia Farrell passed the intermediate, and Miss Grace Berry, the junior. Mrs R. Niccolls presented the following pupils, all of whom were successful: —Preparatory : Misses Annie Tapp, 72 ; Iris Marjorie Parker, 72 ; Alice Joy Clethane, 68; Agnes G. Booth, 72 ; Martha Gold ring, 82 (honours); Irez A. Hetherington, 75. First Steps : Misses Una M. Hall. 78 ; Isabel A, Nicol, 83.
