I MINERS’ HALL, TO-NIGHT. I Programmes of a very enticHing|nature will be screened by the H management this week end. ■ The star picture to-night is one of ■ the sweetest and most dashingly ■ brilliant Irish romances yet ■ screened at the Miners’ Hall. Hit is entitle# “ Brennan of the HMoors,” the film being over 3000 ■feet long. It is a stirring tale of ■Old Ireland 100 years ago, and ■illustrates the life, love, and adHventures of Brennen O’Malley, ■lrish gentleman, and knight of ■the Moors. The story is that of Ha witty outlaw who stole from the ■rich to give to the poor having Ibeen driven to this kind of life by the persecutions of the English, who robbed him of his estates. A beautiful love story is woven 'into the plot and the title role is very able sustained by Barney Gilmore, who will he remembered as the leading actor in “ Kelly of the Emerald Isle.” The supporting pictures are all of the most popular kind, and a big house is being provided for. This Saturday, a grand change will be presented, when 3,600 feet pat he comedy drama entitled “ That Scamp Ferdinand ” will be the star feature. This picture shows Wiffles, the famous comedian at his best, and is refreshing, wholesome, and delightful, and out of the commonplace. Two topical journals are included, viz., The Eclair and the latest Pa the Gazette which show okl world news in pictorial form not forgetting the latest fashions for the ladies. The balance of the pictures are well selected, and guaranteed to please. A bumper house is also being provided for. Another change will be screened on Tuesday. Reserves may be booked at the PRESS Office.
