Historical record entitled witn Scott at the Pole.” This was filmed on the spot by the eminent expert, Mr H. G. Ponting, F.R.G.S, who accompanied the expedition. The British Antarctic Expedition under Captain Scott left London in June, 1910. It was the greatest scientific interprise ever sent out of Engand. The late Captain Scott ind his comrades who gave up their lives in the cruel Antarctic in the search for knowledge, wrote their names on the scroll of fame and enrolled themselves in the foremost rank of British heroes. This film is a noble record of noble deeds done :by noble men. They reached withe pole on January 17th. 1914. During the screening of this famous film Captain Scott’s lavourite hymn “Abide With Me” will be sung by a select quartette. This film was shown before his Maj'esty, King George, about two months ago.
