Poultry and Dog Show.

The second annual Poultry and Dog show will be held on Friday and Saturday, 17th. and 18th. instants in the King’s Hall, the opening ceremony being timed for 2 p.m. on the first day. The entries are numerous, 300 having been received so far. These include the best bull-dogs and setters in the Dominion, while Mrs Bedford’s terrier. 3 ] /i>lbs in weight, just imported into New Zealand from Mexico, to bo shown for the first time on Friday, will be well worth seeing. The poultry classes have been patronised by the largest and most famous breeders, and the other classes will be well represented. The pictures to be disposed of by Art Union, and several of the trophies, will bs on view in the window ot the Waikato Meat Co. from to-day.
