Personal.
Mr H. R- Porter has returned from a business trip to the city. Mrs J. W. Burgess, Ralph Street, is again on the invalid list. Mr Woodleigh, of Purerua School, spent last week end in Huntiy. Mrs Kelly is at present on a visit to Mrs C. Maxwell, Main Street. Mrs F. Jackson and family are at present on a visit to Mr and Mrs T.Nichol, Huntiy South. Mrs W. Brownlie, Raynor’s Road, left by Monday’s express on a holiday trip to Auckland. In the early part of the week Mrs A. G. Fraser and family returned to Huntiy where they will resume residence. Mrs McLeod, of Auckland, is spending a holiday with Mr and Mrs M. F. McLeod, Raynor’s Road. Mr McGill who has been appointed overseer on the HuntlyAwaroa line in succession to Mr O'Connell, has taken up his new duties. Mr J. Harris, of the Railway Department, is spending his holidays at Harrisville with his parents, Mr and Mrs L. B. Harris, sen r. Mr O’Connell who for the past two years, has acted as overseer of the construction work on the Huntiy - Awaroa railway, has been appointed to a similar position on the Waiuku line.
