The Valerie Collins Entertainers opened to a very fair house last Monday evening in the Miners’ Hall. Hiss Vera Maybee figure 1 in various fancy lances which were given with electrical effects and were received well, Mr J. C > liter p formed several conj wing ai • sleight of hand tricks which, t vever, did not appeal greatly to the audience. The progiamme which was certainly of a varied nature was rather short and should have been lengthend to suit the tastes of patrons.
