MINERS’ HALL. TO-NIGHT. A programme of superlative merit is being provided for Lyceum patrons to night. The star feature entitled “ Shipwrecked ” is one of the Kalem Co’s dramatic masterpieces. It is a screen play with a great purpose and deals with equality of man thereby vibrating with living interest. Altogether it is a remarkable story of love and adventure. The educational subjects which the juveniles so much appreciate are well represented. Amongst the supporting subjects the great Keystone Comedy, “ Cohen’s Outing,” deserves special mention, being 1009 feet long and guaranteed to make you laugh. An extra attraction in the person of Mr Dick Darcy, who will sing one of his popular character songs is being provided. Tomorrow the management announce an extraordinary grand attraction in Sir Walter Scott’s “ Ivatihoe.” This is one of the finest living editions in screen plays of the great English classic and the delightful book is now shown in illustrated magnificence. This play was filmed at Chepston Castle and contains great battle scenes in which hundreds of warriors sheathed in armour fight as they did of old. The finest actors and a brilliant cast are featur'd and they represent King Richard the Lionhearled, Ivanhoe, R)b._ Hood and his merry men of the greenwood and Friar Tucc This famous play has been t great success wherever screeaed as it appeals even to people who do not usually go to the pic: ures.
