MINERS’ HALL, TO-NIGHT. This evening a very excellent programme of photoplays will be screened at the Miners' Hall. Dion'Boucicault’s great drama of tlie South, “The Octoroon” which has been translated into exclusive motion pictures Will be the star feature. The Octoroon as a stage play has been produced in the theatre in every civilized country. Its wonderful porti’ayal of the conditions which prevailed in the South prior to ( civil war has caused this immortal drama to be classed as one of the choicest gems of the American stage, and won undying fame for the author. A supporting collection of the choicest subjects, including another 1000 feet of Keystone comedy, which is said to be a scream from from start to finish will go to make a meritorious programme. In addition to the above a special film of the recent races showing Te Onga winning the Great Northern Hurdles will be screened This Saturday another star programme will be projected featuring the great Vitagraph drama “ The Vampire of the Desert,” a nerve tingling offering which is calculated to arrest the attention of the audience fi start to fiinish.
