MINERS’ HALL TO-NIGHT. The Lyceum management are undoubtedly providing most excellent variety in their picture programmes, and to-night the world famed opera “ Carmen ” will be screened to the public of Huntly. This is a most brilliant 3000 ft. star feature, and nothingmore magnificent has ever been projected. Some of the world’s best picture artists were engaged in this production. Wiiiie this play is being screened the famous “Toreador” song will be rendered by the latest Edison concert phonograph manipulated by Mr Farrell. In addition to the above, a srrppeyfi»g—program - me of the fine film of the recent St. Patrick’s demonstration will be screened, and everyone should see this latest Auckland topical. A grand change will be shown to-morrow night, when a unique and well chosen selection of photoplays will be provided. The star feature is entitled “ Saved by the Wire,” and is a thrilling story of a young girl’s heroism. This.film has quite a number of sensational incidents interwoven in the plot. The latest N.Z. animated news is included in the supporting pictures, and the educational features are represented in Kyoto Temples. Bumper houses are being provided for both occasions.
