MINERS’ HALL, TO-NIGHT As usual the management of die above will to-night provide the Huntly public, with a superior selection of photoplays, the feature drama being entitled " A Life for a Life.” This is one of the Cines Company’s great dramatic achievements —the plot being very well sat and finally leading to several sensational passages. The educational series consists of ” The Caucasus,” a beautiful scenic, and that most popular bulletin the latest Rathe Gazette. The supporting dramas and comedies are of a vary interesting order, and for variety the selection would be hard to excel. Patrons can always rely on seeing the latest best obtainable, and as usual a full house is anticipated. To-morrow, Saturday, the company announce that another grand change of programme will be screened, the star pic - ture being “ The King of the Forest” which is said to be a most fascinating screen play. Tim remainder of this programme is of a most interesting description and will satisfy the most experienced picture patron. This programme will not be repeated on Monday night, as is the usual custom, owing to the Lyceum Company having arranged to put on a*spe'cial holiday programme for Tuesday, (St Patrick’s night). This will be an absolute change, the star picture being entitled ‘ Following the Star,” a magnificent drama depicting stage -life. .The supporting pictures in this programme _ are specially suitable for a holiday night, as the mirth provoking and scenic element is well represented. As a special attraction for this night Mr Fred Knapper will sing “ Kiilarney,” and “The Wearing O’ the Green,” the former being .illustrated with coloured slides. The bumper house provided for will no doubt reward the company’s efforts.
