We regret to have to state thal Miss Gordon died in the Hamilton Hospital on Tuesday. Miss Gordon of Churchill was on Monday removed to the Hamilton Hospital suffering from appendicitis. Mr C. Dent, of the local railway staff resumed duty on Monday morning after a pleasant holiday of three week’s duration Mr J. Elliot left by the main trunk on Monday evening for Wellington to represent the local Rod and Gun Club at the Annual Conference of N.Z. Acclimatisation Society.
