BRICKYARD RAMBLERS v. NGARUAWAHIa. On Saturday afternoon last, the junior match, Brickyard Ram- - biers v. Ngaruawahia Juniors, was pfciyed at Huntly in splendid weather and before a fair number of spectators. Winning the toss Ngaruawahia played with the sun. After some loose play by the visitors the ball was brought close to the Huntly twenty-five where Kay secured and made for the line, blit was stopped py Tumeke who forc'd. After the kick off a sure try by Lynch seemed inevitable. Tumeke, however, coll :red in time, the ball afterwards alternating between the twenty-fives until off side play by Henderson gave Huntly a free kick which brought the oval hack t<> the centre. From a penalty Hen Arson made a poor attempt at. goal, j after which tho game remained in the nei Hibiurlio•> 1 of the j Huntly twenty-five. This match was played at Taupiri on Saturday last, the visitors held the upper hand throughout and completely .verwholmed tlnur opponents The final score being Huntly j 8 goals Taupiri 1 goal. For tii-* losers Burt and Cronie played good games, while Hynds, Pom pit, and Haye were the j ! pick of the winning side.
