Gr.-enacre complaining that the entrance t > Onslow Road had been cat off by the erection of gates, and that, in consequence, the value of his property had been depreciated, was received. AUCKLANU EXHIBITION. The report of the conference of local bodies, as held recently at Hamilton, concerning representation at the forthcoming Exhibition in Auckland was read and considered. The opinion of the Board was tliaf representation should be on an i equitable and impartial basis, rather than on one that appeared to be both partial and representative chiefly of Hamilton. It was decided that Mr L. B. Harris be appointed as the Board’s delegate, and urge upon those present at the next meeting the desirability of beginning de not'd, or of basing representation on some equitable plan, in- j stead of in the hap-hazard way adopted. The clerk was asked to point out that the date of the ; next meeting (May Ist) was unsuitable, as the Hospital Board met on the same day, while the shooting season opened then, and | an excursion to Auckland fqj the ; purpose of allowing South Aucklanders an opportunity of seeing H.M.S. New Zealand had been arranged by the railway j authorities. APPROACHES TO THE BRIDGE, j Letters from the Prime Minis- 1 ter and Mr R. F. Bollard M. P. relative to the approaches to the ! bridge were read, and a deputation consisting of the chairman, Mr L. B. Harris junr., the clerk, and as many members of the Board cs could be present, was asked to wait on the Prime Minister in Auckland on Monday or on Tuesday morning next, as might be arranged, and place the views of the Board before him. Mr R. F. Bollard consented to go j with the deputation, and make arrangements for its reception. 7 ' ACCOUNTS. Accounts totalling £B9 17s 5 1 Were passed for payment.
