Ward ; for Ralph’s Mine, Messrs 1). Molesworth junr. and F Farrimond ; Auditors, Messrs J. Turt >n and G. Bowen ; Check-inspector, Mr J. Fulton; Members of t!ie Committee, Messrs D. Moles- : worth junr., J. Patterson and E. Ward. Notices of motion were given to the effect (1) that the rules relating to accidents be rescinded, and (2) that clause G, which forbids members to belong t > two unions, be deleted, and the secretary was instructed to post notices to the effect tliat all members pay into the old Accident Society. It was decided that a deputation consisting of Messrs J. Valentine, T. Smith, W. Wood and I). Molesworth senr., and headed by the secretary, be appointed to meet the directors of the Taupiri Mines and a- -, thencl© re instate all the men disiifpSecl. For The office of president, Messrs T. Britton and W, Wood were nominated, so th at a ballot t > be taken on Thursday, 27th inst., will he necessary, Mr G• *. Bowden to act as Returning Officer. The meeting decided to take legal advice on the power of the ; Executive to contract Thanwithout the consent ot the general body.
