ANNUAL MEETING. The annual genearl meetin of the members of the HuntP Rod and Gun Club was heid <>i Wednesday evening in Mr Wm Speirs’ cafe, Mr Jas. Elliot pie siding over a fair attendance. The minutes of the previous annual meeting were read anc adopted. The annual report (which will be published in full next week was'considered most satisfactory and was adopted as read, tin 2 secretary being highly congratulated on its favourable ten°r. The treasurer, Mr F. Littlein presenting the financial mient for the yea r, s 1 >we 1 the income had reache i 1 and the expenditure, £93 15 4 thus leaving a balance of £.3 5 8 to tho credit of the club. With the property in hand the club was in a sound financial condition. The balance sheet which was adopted, was considered eminently satisfactory. Office-bearers for the ensuing vear were elected as follow: Hon. Presi 1 MitCd. W.H. Hazard, president of the Auckland Acclimatisation Society; President. Mr Jas. Elliot (re-elected) ; Vice-Presidents: Me>srs d. (Lotwick and J. Hughes; Secretary, Mr F. W. Garland (re-elected); Treasurer, Mr F. Littleproud(ivelected); Council, Messrs W. Jollv, Wm. Speirs, Starr. B. Dovitt, J. A. Parkes, S. Beer, J. Young, W. Ryan and R. Niccolls; Delegates to the Auckl in 1 Society, Messrs .). Elliot a:i 1 F. Littleproud ; Shooting Committee, Messrs Hughes, Speirs and G rat wick. It was decided to tender a smoke concert to Mr d. Wils »n, one of the oldest members of the club, prior to his departure on a trip to the old Country.
