Sports by Aloe and Horace Fraser, who ripped through a while pine log in 11 4-5 seconds. Application is being made to have the record declared official. SPURIOUS COINS FOUND. GISBORNE, December 29. Children, while playing in a vacant section, discovered a leather satchel containing 178 spurious coins. They were florins, and w r ere roughly cast. Evidently they had been in this hiding place for a considerable time.
