The Indian airman, Mohan Singh, who is chief pilot to the Maharaja of Patiala, Us awaiting favourable weather to start on an attempt to' beat Mrs Mollison’s record in the flight to Capetown. His machine, which has a range of about 1200 miles, and cruising speed of 125 miles hourly, is at Croydon, undergoing final adjustments.
AIR MINISTER ON TOUR
RUGBY, December 27.
Lord Londonderry, Air Minister, who is spending the parliamentary recess in a 16,000 mile air tour with the Royal Air Force overseas, completed the inspection of a number of Air Force stations iff Egypt, and continued his journey 'from Cairo, flying in a service aeroplane, and proceeding via Assuit and Wadi Haifa for Khartoum, where, a bomber squadron is stationed. Later he will visit trans-Jordan, Iraq, and many centres in India.
