Newspapers here are featuring another film war, wherein powerful rival picture interests announce their intention of building new theatres in Sydney and other capitals. The Government to-night announced the appointment of Mr F. Marks to investigate the activities of the cinema companies with a view if necessary of obtaining greater control of the foreign distributors.
