ANGLO-JAPANESE MEETING

The nogoiating committee of the British cotton and artificial industries met the Japanese cotton industries’ representatives in London today. The following •resolutions were passed: First, the British and Japanese delegations are of opinion “hat the interests of loth comuviei and the in•uustri&s of both would be best served by commencing official industrial negotiations as soon as possible. 'Secondly, the British delegation is of the opinion that the cotton and artificial silk industries are now so intricately involved, each in the fortunes of the other, that the contemplated negotiations must embrace artificial silk yarn fabrics.
