AIPIA, December 21. | The heaving of the Nelson case w-s resumed to-day. when Police Inspect'd Bi'aisby continued his evidence, and he was still in the box when the Court adjourned at 3.30 p.m. Among exhibits seized a t Nelson’s residence, was a ,Mau budget, prepared and written by Nelson. The, fact was admitted by the defence. It contained receipts for tax paid by natives of £2,400, and of fines collected £IOO, the total being £2,500, less an amount retained for village committees of £SOO, leaving a total of £2,000. There was a contribution received for the Womens’ Mau of £IOO, and for the Samoan Guardian £IOO, The total receipts were £2,200.
