DISPUTE SETTLED
IN CONCILIATION COUNCIL. (Per Pttsss Association Copyright,) WELLINGTON, December 20. An agreement was reached in. the Conciliation Council in 'the workers dispute. The wages are 1/11 for journeymen electricansi ■. A new rate was decided for /radio servicemen of 1/9 an hour.., The improvers’ rate was increased to 1/5. an hour. • The award comes into force on January 3 and operates for a year.;.. A clause was inserted • prohibiting that if any general order of , the court was made, it should apply to the rates in the award. There wa§ some talk during the discussions that it. wan rumoured there was a chance of the court restoring the ten per cent. 1 cuts.
