At A rail lira yards on Monday W. Jeff-iies and Co., offered at auction, 1 2 fat lambs, 28 fat pigs and 28 fat cattle. Prices were slightly easier for big cattle while .light- weight ox and heifer beef and rujuiers sold readily at firm rates. Lambs sold on a parity with prices ruling at Addington. The following sales were!, made. For T. A. Condon, 20 lambs at, 18s 6d; 10 ditto at 18s; 2 fat ewes at 18s 6d.

For P> Paginiui 5 fat lambs at 17s 3d, 3 fat ■ - wethers at 16s 9d. For Perry and C0,';23 fat ewes at 17s, 3? iambs at 13s 3d.

TETAHO CLEARING SALE

Yesterday .at Tetaho W. Jeffries and vjO. conducted a clearing sale on account of D. Stock, who is relinquishing his farm interests in South Westland. There was a large attendance of Coast graziers, from -Reefton to Weheka being represented.

The stock were yarded in excellent order and competition (expecially for catne) was keen. The ewes and lambs attracted considerable interest. The following sales were made :—•

13 f and f 4 tooth wethers at 15s 6c!, 3 sd three shear rams at £3 17s 6d, 4 do two shear ranis at £3 ea., 3 Romney four shear rams at Is 7s 6d to £1 17s 6d each

64 mixed aged Romney ewes and 82 lambs all counted at 14s 6d each, 75 do eives and 75 lambs all counted at 15s 3d, 49 do ewes and 54 lambs all counted at 14s 10(1, 60 d 0 ewes and 59 lambs all counted at 14s Bd, 7 m.s! hoggets at 15s 6d, 5 cows and calves at £2 16s 6d, 6 18 months strs at £3 6s, 4 do heifers at £3 2s, 6 y» heifers at £2, 11 f and f steers at £6, 37 breeding cows, Hereford and S.H. cross at £3 os, 1 springer at £3 7s 6d, back marc £22, spring cart £2l, set harness £2 12s 6cl. A large quantity of farm tool -etc., realised excellent •prices. For Mr T. O’Neill, 18 ewes at 16s. For A .Reid 4 fat lieifers at £5. .
