Owing to a dispute over the wages of dairy, factory drivers, various unions in Canterbury have been recommended to declare all butter ..made in the province “black,” with the exception of the output of one. factory. The' Canterbury Drivers’ Union has already done so, and is urging Alliance of Labour action.

The proposal i« to refrain from, buying the “banned” Sutter until the wages dispute is settled.
