N.S.W. SEEKS ALTERED RULES

SYDNEY, December 14
Seeking New Zealand and South African support, the New South Wales Rugby Union will again approach the Home unions, in an effort to secure dispensations of the rules. The Council -announced that' both sister Dominions have been asked if they will link themselves with the looal body, in a concerted appeal. Should South Africa and New Zealand agree, a move will be jtn/ade through The Dominion delegates on the Rugby Foot’htt Unfen,' (for an alteration to The rule govern-y ing kick-into-touch,* similar to the dispensation allowed to New Zealand and Australia from *1923 until the beginnings of the 1931 season.
