XMAS AND NEW YEAR HOLIDAYS
Monday 25th. and Tuesday 26th December, nd Monday Ist January will -e observed in mail and telegraph! branch as close holidays. Exchange open continuously. On the evenings of Saturday 23rd and SOtli December, the office posting box. will be "cleared immediately prior to closing of the office. .No special clearance of street receiving boxes wiil be made in the early evening. No mails will be despatched on December 25, (Christmas Day). On December 26, and January 1, mails will be despatched as usual and will all close at 7.45 a.m. Street receiving boxes will he cleared at 6.30 a.m. On tile evening of December 23 a delivery of tmm letters registered ns well as ordinary) will be made Over the counter from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m;
