OBITUARY

The death occurred, yesterday morning at his residence, Blaketown, of Mr David Jones, 'formerly a wellknown miner and. tunneller. Deceased, who was 54 years of age, was a native of Australia, and had been for about twenty years in New Zealand. He leaves a widow and one child.

The death took place yesterday at Grey Hospital of Mr Robert W. MilIsou of Kumara following injuries received the previous week as the result of a fall from a horse, which ultimately proved fatal. Deceased was a native of Hillmans and 48 years of age. He had for the past four years been Foreman at Kutnnia for the Public Works Department, prior to which jhe was for eighteen years employed on the Government water race. He leaves a widow, one son and three daughters, one brother, Thomas (Wairoa, Hawke’s Bay), and two sisters. Mesdames W. Hall (of Cowper Street, Greymouth). and J. Reid (Springfield).
