(five years, Russia’s aviation power would bo equal to that of all the European countries combined. Russia was producing planes as good a s the .French, and all Russia’s aeroplane factories were at least 430 miles from any 'frontier.

The budget for 1934-35 shows reductions in the estimates for the army equal t'o £1,660,000, .and in the navy t£2,90Q,000. There .-.is an increase iin the air force vote of £233,000.
