The secretary of the Board of Control has sent the following cable to Marylebone: “With further reference to your cable of October 9, and also in /reference bo confirmatory cable of December 12, in reply to yours of November 10 we all now regard the position as finalised. Our team will leave Australia on March 9 to play cricket with 'English teams.

The secretary of Marylebone Club, Mr Finday, has sent the following reply: “Thanks for your cable. We are very glad to know we may look forward to welcoming Australians- next summer. We shall do all in our power to miake the visit enjoyable.”
