GANDHI EXPELS U.S. DISCIPLE.

CALCUTTA, December 9

A wayward American disciple of Gandhi, whose alleged worldliness caused her to be expelled from Gandhi’s “ashram” (retreat), caused a fresh hubbub to-day in Calcutta. He refused to have anything to do with her, and she is now detained under police surveillance.
