The worst disaster for many years in Chinese inland waters occurred on the Yang Tse river. According to reports, a small Chinese steamer, proceeding to Hankow, crashed . into a Government troop ship during a heavy -fog, sinking within a few minutes. It is estimated the total loss of lives is Sixty Chinese.
