EIGHT CHARGES OF THEFT

AUCKLAND,' December 12,

Eight charges of theft of a total of £2l, the property of the Auckland Transport Board, were' brought against Milton Luke Ashby, aged 31, in the Poiice Court. After hearing the evidence, the Magistrate (Air Hunt), said: “I don’t think I am justified in sending the accused for trial, hut this does not prevent the Crown from bringing the charges again if further evidence is available. 1 want it to be understood that I am not expressing any opinion as to whether lie is guilty or not guilty. The case is dismissed.”
