SALARIES DEBATE CONTINUES. (United Press i isouation—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) PARIS, December 9. The Chamber of Deputies had a daylong debate on the Ohautemps Ministry’s finance proposals. The debate was adjourned. The Government was successful by 403 votes to 63 on a crucial division On finance, on which the predecessors were defeated. The. Socialists, however,. abstained from voting. At the conclusion of the debate M. Chautemps said: “The people are demanding not only the, dissolution of Parliament, but the revision of the Constitution. I shall use all means within the law to defend Parliament but Parliament must help me to show the nation that it is equal to its duties.”
