BUCHAREST. November 27,

Troops and gendarmes have been engaged for. three days in laying siege Ao one -hundred of the anti-Semitic ■iron guards, whose suppression has been ordered by the Government. They barricaded themselve, 3 in a house in Wassy. Finally they ran short of amnuufftion and food.

Tliey~ appealed for help to one hundred thousand of their fellow members, one thousand of whom marched to their relief. They met a stubborn resistance. They rushed and completely demolished the house of the Minister of the Interior. The fighting resulted in one student being killed. Many were injured in following disturbances.
