The Premier (the Hon. G. W. Forbes), commenting on the Auckland wool sale, said the increased prices would mean more work on farms, as tbe farmers would he able to put in hand that

work which had been left undone through lack of finance. The rise in fine wools was of particular interest to people in Canterbury, and lie was very jubilant concerning the increase in price for the coarser wools of the North Island. He believed that the rise would be maintained at future sales.
