CHRISTHURCH, November 27
A gift of two thousand pounds ■ for the benefit of women patients- in the Queen Mary Hospital, at Hanmer, by Mr Charles Lyons, of Christchurch, was announced by the Prime Minister when speaking at a luncheon, held at Hanmer tc-day. Mr Forhos’ said Air Lyons had creat-
ed the fund, tho interest from which would be. used to keep women patients
in the hospital, and he had made the gift in memory of his mother, and in gratitude for sympathetic care that she had received while a patient of the liopital. . The fr.nd will be administered by a trust board.
